Boy's View: 2009 Ohio District Pow Wow

The 2009 Ohio District Pow Wow’s theme was medieval times and knights. Friday nights’ sermon was focused on the Right side, the Right side being God’s side. The Worship was spirit filled. Saturday was full of fun events which included medieval themed events, such as Jousting, Cat and Mouse, and Archery etc. Jousting was a skilled event that required balance and strength. It was in my personal opinion, the best event of all. Another great event was paintball, it required stealth and camouflage. The events also included earning a medieval Page, Squire, and Knight pen, in which we had to memorize scripture in able to earn the pens. Sunday our commanders woke up and thanked God that it had not rained on us that weekend, but as soon as they finished praying it started to pour down rain. Afterwards we took down camp and went home knowing we had a fun filled time.
